Suzi Williams

Family Support Worker – Pembrokeshire

Suzi joined the Sandy Bear team as a part-time Family Support Worker in August 2024, having previously volunteered for the charity for over two years. She has a passion to equip children with skills  they need to build on their resilience and contentment. Suzi feels privileged to be able to support children and their families at Sandy Bear.

Working within the health sector for over 35 years, Suzi has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through her time as a Community Nurse delivering palliative and end of life care in people’s own homes. Also focusing on protecting and promoting whole family health over many years of work within GP surgeries in Pembrokeshire as a Practice Nurse. Following further studying, Suzi completed a BSc (Hons) in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, working as a School Nurse promoting emotional and physical wellness.

Suzi enjoys looking after her own wellbeing by spending time in the swimming pool and taking part in weekly Aquafit and Hydro-yoga classes.
