Sallie joined the Sandy Bear team in May 2024 on a part time basis. Having previously worked in both the private and public sector in a variety of roles including campaign organisation and press and marketing.

Sallie has always volunteered and understands the important role volunteers hold in organisations. Most of her volunteering has been centred around children and young people.

Sallie has a degree in English literature and is learning Welsh in the evenings. When not working, Sallie can be found walking her crazy dog in North Pembrokeshire. She has recently taken up quilt making and can often been found sewing small squares.
