Sadie James
Bereavement Practitioner – Swansea
Sadie joined the Sandy bear team in July 2024, after previously volunteering for the charity. She completed her degree in BSc Human and Social Sciences, BPS accredited, at the University of Cardiff in 2022. Sadie then had a gap year and went travelling around Australia, South East Asia and Central America learning all about the different cultures.
Sadie has known from a young age she wanted to work in a position that made a positive difference to a person’s life. She feels that being a bereavement practitioner brings her the most job satisfaction by being able to help both children, young people and adults through the difficult times. Sadie looks forward to watching the charity grow and being a part of it.
Sadie grew up in Pembrokeshire and thoroughly enjoys her lifestyle which includes sea swimming, meeting up with friends, spending time with her partner, family and her dog Buddy. She loves new adventures, socialising and learning about new things.
