Owain joined the Sandy Bear team in April 2024 after working with children and young people for the past 20 years. He has always taken a keen interest in supporting children’s wellbeing through creative approaches.

Owain is a qualified teacher and play therapist which has allowed him to support many children throughout Pembrokeshire using various creative practices including storytelling and drama sessions.

Owain grew up in Pembrokeshire and is a Welsh speaker. In his spare time, he takes an active role in the local amateur dramatic scene and also enjoys a good board game. He is a dad of 3 boys who also keep him very busy!
