An experienced strategic manager and passionate community advocate, Martin joined the Sandy Bear team in November 2024. As a proud Welshman born and raised in Pembrokeshire, Martin brings a unique blend of local insight, dedication, and strategic acumen to his role, where he is focused on driving growth and positive impact within the community.

Martin’s dynamic leadership style and can-do attitude have made him a natural fit for facilitating Sandy Bear’s mission. His extensive experience in managing organisational change, coupled with highly effective planning, organisational, and communication skills, allows him to engage both the team and the wider community. Known for his empathy and warmth, Martin fosters a supportive environment for colleagues and stakeholders alike, aligning with Sandy Bear’s core values of care and compassion.

Outside of his professional life, Martin enjoys exploring the Pembrokeshire coast path with his partner, Lisa, and their flat-coated retriever, Xander III. A devoted father to two energetic sons, Olly and Max, Martin is always up for a new challenge and rarely finds himself without something meaningful to work on.
