Climbing Snowdon for Sandy Bear!

Snowdon

On March 8th, four of us from the Sandy Bear team – Leah, Ana, Sadie, and Lee – set off on an exciting adventure: climbing Snowdon! We started very early at 4 AM, while it was still dark, using our head torches to light the way. It was cold, but we were ready for the challenge!

As we walked up, the world around us was quiet, except for the sound of our footsteps. It was tough at times, but we kept each other going with lots of encouragement (and a few snacks!).

Just after sunrise, we reached the top – and wow, what a view! We could see for miles as the sun lit up the mountains. It was an amazing feeling knowing we had made it all the way up!

Climbing Snowdon wasn’t just about the challenge; it reminded us that, just like in life, when things feel tough, having support makes all the difference.

Now, we’re looking forward to our next big adventure – climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK! Stay tuned for updates, and if you’d like to support us, check out our fundraising events. Every step we take helps Sandy Bear support children and families who need us.
