Fundraising Officer and Grants and Trusts Officer vacancies
Sandy Bear exist to provide bereavement and pre-bereavement support to children, young people, and their families. We work through telephone and face to face support, and with 1:1, family, and peer group support groups where appropriate and funding allows.
As we enter our seventh year as a charity and our work established within West Wales, we are now getting set to fulfil our mission that all children, wherever they reside in Wales, should be able to access the right support, at the right time.
Our funding is drawn from a mixture of statutory and voluntary grants and commissions, corporate support, and a huge amount of community and individual fundraising.
We are looking for two enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team and help us help more families.
Our fundraising Officer role is being created to develop and lead across all aspects of fundraising and is an exciting role for someone with fundraising experience looking for a new challenge. Working with a small but growing team of volunteers and staff you will have an opportunity to put your stamp on our work and ensure we are able to support beneficiaries now and in the future. Whether your background is as a crowdfunding wizard, or a community queen, the right attitude and aptitude are as important as your credentials!
Our new grants and trusts officer will Work closely with the fundraising Officer and wider team and be able to guide and navigate their way through the various ways we need to engage with, apply to and subsequently report back to trusts and foundations; large and small.
Both roles are offered full or part-time and with the flexibility of office based or working remotely from anywhere within Wales. The roles will support our work across Wales and will have regular travel around the country and to meetings in our Pembrokeshire office (Expenses paid)
