Ieuan retired from the police service, as a Superintendent, in April 2020, having spent most of his service between stations across Pembrokeshire, as well as carrying out a number of roles at their headquarters in Carmarthen. 

He was also involved in a number of roles and collaborations across the Welsh region during his service. 

Ieuan and his family are previous service users of Sandy Bear from 2008 and the charity has a special place in their hearts.

This saw him join our organisation in 2020 as both a volunteer and trustee, taking over as chair of the board at the end of 2023.

Ieuan is also a local school governor and active member of Pembroke Rugby Club.
